Anyone know what the definitive penalty for breaching your data cap is?

- Restriction on speed?
- Data Bolt on automatically applied?
- Extortionate chargeper MB?

Such a good decision by O2. It will keep the data hogs at bay and improve the service for the rest of us......... without hitting the accidental/occasional limit breakers in the pocket.

Fair all round from where I am sitting.

Agreed, so long as they don't change their mind and go down the charging for overuse route, thats the thing I am worried about although I imagine that would prompt more of an outcry.

I got my T&C through the other day for my new contract and there was something about 'no more than £1 a day charge for data' i might have read it wrong and it could be completely unrelated.
