I am wanting to stay with o2 but with a new contract via mobiles.co.uk rather than through my existing car phone warehouse deal. The deal was a fiver cheaper a month. I was told by a guru I wouldn’t need to cancel my old contract but just to ring o2 when I had signed up to new deal and they would transfer my existing number over and then my old contract would be cancelled. Does this sound right,  I wanted to double check before going ahead?

@Mwatson100 Yes ask customer service to migrate your number to the new contract which will end the Your current contract but you will be liable to pay any fees left remaining to pay
