Changed to 30day contract still charged old contract rate

Anonymous
Not applicable
At the start of January I changed my 12 monthly contract to a 30 day contract and should have gone down to paying £18.00 I have just checked my account and I have been charged £20 by 02. I have also checked the tariff rate and its says it's the 30 day contract but being charged at £20 and not the £18 that was advertised.

Any advice?

As I said above, the first bill is always higher by a couple of quid for the first 2 days of your contract (prior to starting the full bill cycle).

Hi @Anonymous. You were probably looking at the price without checking the added vat.

I think you have the same simo contract as me. ..though mine is over 12 months. £18 is displayed but if you check into Ts and Cs it will include the vat rate payable which is added to total cost...

Hi guys thanks for the input I don't think it's the VAT as that would not be £20 it would be over the deal I bought was the below ( your order) and what is on my account is also below ( tariff) as you can see I don't think they have applied the £2.00 discount to my account.

You need to access My O2 on your PC and then click on 'allowances' and under bolt ons you should see the discount.

Yes, as above. It is listed as a bolt on.

Is this your first bill as there may be an interim charge before the billing date. What are the charges showing as a breakdown?
