I have been moved from Virgin Mobile to O2. Generally happy, but both my phones will not display incoming numbers - just being shown as unknown number. Is this a known problem and how can it be fixed? Thanks.

It is possible the Virgin SIMs you have presently need to be swapped for genuine O2 branded SIMs to resolve this, @Pongo42 - if you feel confident in using 202 or Social Media O2 support for this as suggested by @Cleoriff above, including the wait while new SIMs are mailed out to you, that is fine - otherwise, take both handsets and photo ID to an O2 Shop and ask them to move you onto the correct brand and type of SIM in each device. Good luck!

@Pongo42

We're just customers like you but it sounds as if you need someone to access your account which can't be done from here

Give O2 a call on  202 or 0344 809 202 (Contract)  4445 or 0344 809 222 (PAYG)

Or you can message O2 on social media on Instagram https://o2uk.co/O2CIG), Facebook ( https://o2uk.co/O2CFB) , Twitter ( https://o2uk.co/O2CTW).

Thanks for the prompt responses. Visited a very helpful O2 shop in Aylesbury, they replaced the SIM cards and CLI immediately burst into life. Perhaps this experience could help others. transferring from Virgin to O2.
