Ideally you need the O2 travel bolt on for EU countries.

Another option which does use your call and text allowance when abroad is tugo if used over a WiFi connection.

Or, if you travel regular to a particular country get a local sim and use tugo over 3/4g wink

But remember to disable after 7th April, otherwise you'll be charged £1.99 flat rate, even if you only send one text message!

I am in a perfect situation to test all this out. I go to Spain on the 22nd of March and return the day after the changes kick in. It will be interesting to see the texts I get from O2....

Well I get one from O2 as soon as I land...so surely if there are changes I 'should' get a second one?
