Barred phone despite having payed.

I was caught a bit short one day with paying a bill of mine. I was able to pay half of it and arranged with o2 about paying the 2nd half on the 4th. They barred the use of my texting and phone calls until the 2nd payment was done. 

 

I payed the amount requested and I was told that it usually takes up to 24 hours to be completed, which is fair enough. However the question I would like to ask is thus:

 

Would the payment still take 24 hours if it was to be done on a weekend or would I have to wait for the Monday to use my phone again?

If the payment was made over the weekend then that wouldn't count in as part of the 24hrs. You would probably not be reconnected till Tuesday at the earliest. You could ring Customer services to double check

Chase up cs to get the block lifted. They can over ride the automated system.

Mate 02 isnt worth it., you no ive had nothing but problems with them.... i lost my phone last night. phoned up today. they are refusing to give me a phone on my insurance. im a mug for wanting a samsungs s6 edge. by god this is the worst company ever........... all my device plan was up to date, had a few problems like your self with the device plan. and they try and tell me i cant have replacement.


No replacement

 

Also taking on people who are unemployed stupid.
