02 Refresh Device pay off

Hello all

Just have a quick question, why when i go onto the O2 app and go through to pay off device does it then ask me to pick a new contract?

I have confirmed with O2 the settle amount for the device which is whats stated on the app, but it then still asks me to pick a new plan. I am on Refresh O2 again have confirmed this

The system assumes you are paying off to upgrade you phone.
You can make the payment by calling customer service on 202 or by going in store too.
