new to 02

Just got my wife on to o2 with a pay as you go sim that came yesterday, she has been on EE previously but the reception round home is **** !!,  anyway i put the o2 sim in her galaxy s4 and rang 4444 as instructed to top up, it would not accept her debit card, tried mine still not accepting mine, can't find anyone on line at o2 to talk to and the local shop is shut...... don't know what to do !!poor customer service from o2,  any ideas ?.................thanks,  Harry

Your first top up needs to be by voucher. After that you can register your cards to accept payment for top ups Guide How to Top Up (PAYG)

Try online if you are shielding or staying home due to lockdown.
