Return credit to O2 account from bundle that was automatically bought

Hi,

I just added £10 to my O2 account. My goal in doing this was to keep my phone number live while out of the country for a few months. Unfortunately, the £10 was automatically used to buy an O2 monthly bundle. Of course, this bundle is no use to me when I am out of the country.
Is there a way to re-credit my account with that £10 so that when I do return to the UK I can use it to get a monthly bundle?
Thanks,

Katherine

Unfortunately that isn't possible, sorry.

O2 only do bundles on PAYG now which last for 30 days, however, one top up is all that is required every 6 months to keep your number active. You do not have to top up every month if not using your phone.

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

We're just customers like you but it sounds as if you need someone to access your account which can't be done from here.

Or you can message O2 on Facebook ( https://o2uk.co/O2CFB) , Twitter ( https://o2uk.co/O2CTW) or Instagram ( https://o2uk.co/O2CIG), hopefully they should be able to help.

Thanks, that's helpful to know that a number lasts for 6 months. I thought it may just be 3 😞 Oh well, we live and learn.
