I have requested and received  an unlock code for my phone.   It is only 8 digits long.   I expected it to be longer and the number given does not work.    Is 8 digits right?

Tks.

Thanks.   Sorted now.   My own stupid fault.

The 8 digits was right, but I was forgetting the phone is security locked and sim locked and you have to get past that before it asks for the network unlock code.  Duh !!

I was putting the netwrok unlock code in without  reading that it was the phone security code that it wanted.

Tks.

Samsung use 8 digit codes BUT do not keep trying it if it isn’t working. Get back onto customer service for the correct code. Too many wrong codes will lock the phone to o2 forever.
