Hi. I have a back up 'alcatel' phone which i/my son very rarely use. We are going away for a few days and when I tried to top it up it said the account had been frozen. I haven't topped it up since summer last year 2018.

You'll need to contact customer services to unfreeze it.

Guide: How to find help & contact O2

To prevent this in future you need to make a chargeable call or text at least once every 6 months.

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.
Please select the post that helped you best and mark as the solution. This helps other members in resolving their issues faster. Thank you.

Contact customer service @GillB Because you haven't made a call or sent a text in the last six months your sim will have become inactive. Customer service will connect you again as long as it hasn't been too long.
