Currently in the UK only Vodafone offer RCS
My wife and i communicate via Message+
My wife has a HTC 10 & i am on iPhone 6s Plus
It is the same as iMessage, but with the advantage that there is an app for both Android & iOS and both os can communicate with each other using this function.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.vodafone.messaging&hl=en_GB
https://itunes.apple.com/gb/app/vodafone-call/id833409201?mt=8
I am really suprised no other major carrier in the UK is offering this function as of yet.
From my limited knowledge it is also avalable on Android Messages on Vodafone network only.

I too would like to know when o2 are rolling out RCS. As mentioned above, Google have pushed out updates to the OS carrier services app and updated Android Messages so it's all baked into Android ready. We just need o2 to flick the switch to enable it network side.
If they aren't enabling this functionality for Android users soon, I will be leaving o2 for Vodafone as I don't want to miss out on the replacement for SMS simply because I'm an o2 customer.
With more and more networks around the world enabling this and Google having now signed up almost every Android OEM to install Android Messages as the default messaging app, the scene is set. Come on o², get with the programme. You're letting your customers, and yourselves down big time here!
Tugo was a hideous app and I never want to use that pile of crap again.

Can you provide a link to where they stated this please? When I spoke to them last they said it would come at some point.

Cheers, but was that thumbs down not in response to Samsung enhanced chat? That's how I interpreted the response in him saying Samsung enhanced chat was similar to RCS, but difficult to implement, which RCS isn't as the hard work has already been done by Google. Networks just need to enable it which is why so many are switching it on now.
Android RCS is now offering a single standard through Google Jibe so o2 need to pay attention and get onboard.
