I ordered a Pixel 9 Pro XL last Tuesday as part of my switch-up plan, and it was meant to arrive last Wednesday, but I have yet to receive it. I've phoned customer support several times, and they've given me excuses like warehouse issue, escalated to the back end team, conveyed to the warehouse team, and so on, but there has been no resolution so far; they said they couldn't cancel the order because it was still in the processing stage. How do I cancel the order immediately so that I can place a new order?

Looks like you should contact the sales team as they can help with that – message them on Social Media if that works best for you -on Facebook (https://o2uk.co/O2CFB) , Twitter (https://o2uk.co/O2CTW) or Instagram (https://o2uk.co/O2CIG)
Or you can call them on 0800 081 0255
Thanks

You can only cancel if O2 do it on the system, however, we know that it isn't possible for those orders that are stuck in processing until the status is updated.

I believe they are not even trying at this point. I searched the forum and some of the people who do manage to cancel the order told me they called in numerous times until a person who seems to know these things were found. Another agent that I spoke with earlier told me he can't cancel the order but there is a specific team that can and he sent me the number, but the number was not valid.

I would have said Social Media is the best place to try but if you have tried them already, then maybe post in the loooong thread about the pixel 9XL thread and see if one of those who said it was fixed if they can give you a clue...
Or try Socials again...

Sounds like a case og keep calling until someone with some sense answers the phone.
Try asking to be put through to a UK call centre if you end up offshore.
