Can you read your texts online? or is there an international tariff?

Is it possible to read any text messages sent to my phone online as I am currentley travelling around the world for a year and my phone doesnt get signal abroad or is there a special international package which isnt restricted to one country?

theres nothing like that available at the moment. There is a cool app to use with andriod devices called Mighty Text. this is ideal for when youve left your device switched on at home or in the car etc and you get the texts on your computer and reply to them -

The only service that allowed reading O2 txts online I knew off closed this month:(

Three questions.

1) which phone do you have?
2) are you travelling outside of Europe as well?
3) is staying in contact via email an unviable suggestion?

If I remember the Nokia pc app used to show all ur texts. Not sure if it's ONLY when u sync ur fone.
