Thanks @gmarkj and @BobM .

Luckily it was only his 4th (final year) which was affected by Covid restrictions. He did his 3rd year at Renault as a Sales performance analyst...and they were pretty impressed with him. Hence the offer of a job before they even knew his results. So they took a gamble really and it paid off. rofl
