checking on my cat Marvellous Marty the Magnificent = beside me in his pet-bed under the wooden desk 

on which new basic desktop printer will be put = on or around next payday ..... I mean upon the wooden desk not upon the cat  

kicked my old basic Epson printer in frustration many many months ago 

therapeutic for me for about 3 nano-seconds but really, really bad for the printer 

well, let's see if there are many takers for my initial entry into the off-top unofficial world of 'the lounge area'

Well I dunno what's happening in my 'neck of the woods' A sudden extremely loud firework display started

Can't think of one special occasion on Oct 7th??. I know it sent my cats running....

Well it's World Smile Day.. But I'm sure that's not the reason  We get those fireworks here for any reason.. Birthdays etc. Hate them.. poor Raffy is always  petrified 😞 x

No idea what it was. Lasted for 10 minutes...then finished. Certainly woke the cats up....No doubt this will go on till New Year......

October 1st- 9th here marks the Thai Muslim festival where they can not eat meat, we get fireworks at the start and the end.
