Hi @Cleoriff
It is a variegated Yucca Plant it flowers with huges spikes of bell like flowers
adapted very well to quite a number of different climates, mainly from the
Americas and Caribean!
This plant is about 20/25 years old. Very architectural in the garden and
stunning when in flower.

Thanks @TallTrees. No room for it in my already overfilled garden though.
On my water feature I planted a Cordyline (with leaves similar to your Yucca). It was about 2ft tall when planted.... now 8ft and occasionally flowers though nothing like yours. It's about 20 years old.
About 10 years ago, after a severe winter, we thought we had lost it. My husband, who knows nothing about gardening, was ready with the chainsaw to raze it to the ground.
I made a few threats and we left it alone.
For18 months it did nothing, then suddenly came back to life and is now doing well.

Hi @Cleoriff
Yes I have cordyline too ~ you can chop it down but it will come back (eventually)
it flowers too, It is very nice. The Yucca has much wider leaves and very sharp (like needles) at
the end so needs caution. I have two codylines ready to re-plant they have green and yellow
striped leaves and I have red ones too they all used to be "small" ! They all grow HUGE!
Great your cordyline recovered ~ they become like old friends.
