Hi everyone,

The end of Summer, as bittersweet as it might be, marks the beginning of Autumn. 🍂

It's a gorgeous season, that brings many things to do, eat, and look forward to! I thought it might be interesting to share what our favourite things to do this season are, and I'll kick this off by listing a few of the things on my bucket list for the coming months:

Screen Shot 2018-10-11 at 13.56.18.png

  • Enjoy all things cinammon
  • Step up your stew game
  • Feast on apples
  • Warm up by a bonfire
  • Make crumbles
  • Admire the trees and their autumnal colours
  • Plan Halloween night
  • Get cozy under a pile of blankets
  • Carve a Pumpkin

So what's on your bucket list this season?

That'd be quite a treat ... but also a way to avoid Autumn in itself joy Are you not a fan of the cooler weather, spookiness, and everything cinammon and all-spice?

wink For now, migrating south ready for the winter like nature does, will remain on my bucketlist for a number of years. Cooler weather, ghosts .... no thank you ghost

Well I hope to get a bit more "me time" , certainly the darkness has an affect on my activities outside.  I am an early bird really and love the mornings.  The nights drawing in do not really suit me but I like the seasons so have to put up with it.  I enjoy the "getting ready" for the winter so I am really like a little busy bee right up to the cold snap.

I took a photo this afternoon of one of my roses ~ big scenty rose still flowering!  It is a sheer delight.

Hi @dgilbert2

Thank you ~ this rose seems so happy to continue and has more buds on too.  Quite a few of my

roses still want to continue.

I am glad you like it.

I have a rose still flowering. Called 'Just Joey' and also has more buds on. Quite unusual for this time of year.

You mention only SCD and X-Factor but there are also a lot of shows coming back/out this time of the year, right? Not that you need more shows to watch but that's quite exciting too!

I mention only X-Factor and SCD specifically@EmilieT

because we have threads running on the forum. I could have added the return of Dr Who, as this is also a thread on the forum, but it's still too early to tell whether this is something to get excited about or not.

could add loads of new and returning shows, some I'll be watching others, because I don't have Sky, I'll be buying the boxset to binge at a future date. I was particularly pleased to see there is a new series of Arrow. After the end of the last series I wasn't sure there'd be one

However, I didn't want to bore you all with my love of TV. If you've read any of my posts on here, you know that already, so 'nuff said LOL

I know this isn't yours @Cleoriff but still it's beautiful and  I love the colour.

I didn't see it as migration but now it makes more sense joy I imagine you'd be happy to hibernate over winter as well then, like @Cleoriff does? Another way for nature to cope with the cooler weather snowflake

@TallTrees

Such a lovely rose, thanks for the picture! Some colour on this rainy day rose

@Glory1

Oh I know about your square eyes, worry not LOL
