Hi everyone,

The end of Summer, as bittersweet as it might be, marks the beginning of Autumn. 🍂

It's a gorgeous season, that brings many things to do, eat, and look forward to! I thought it might be interesting to share what our favourite things to do this season are, and I'll kick this off by listing a few of the things on my bucket list for the coming months:

Screen Shot 2018-10-11 at 13.56.18.png

  • Enjoy all things cinammon
  • Step up your stew game
  • Feast on apples
  • Warm up by a bonfire
  • Make crumbles
  • Admire the trees and their autumnal colours
  • Plan Halloween night
  • Get cozy under a pile of blankets
  • Carve a Pumpkin

So what's on your bucket list this season?

@EmilieTthe biggest thing on my bucket list is enjoying the cooler weather, after the summer's heat.

The nights drawing in early are another plus for me, sorry @Cleoriff. I'm not a sun worshipper but a big night person. I come alive when the sun goes down.

Looking forward to Halloween as we've a scary pygama party planned and I'm bringing the scary films Fear It'll be great fun.

SCD and X-Factor will make Autumn interesting and fun.

Foodwise, hot meals again, which I missed in summer. Too hot to bother with the cooker so salads most of the time. I do love salads but enough is enough.

And, apologies again @Cleoriff but also looking forward to Christmas, though we're into winter by then my favourite season Bouncy

Lover of all things Samsung. Currently using Samsung Galaxy S10 Plus 128gb

Hi @EmilieT

Autum is great but usually quite busy

My bucket list is quite long

Clean and wash out Greenhouse

Put in crocus and tulip bulbs for spring

*keep sweeping up leaves*

Garden benches get a clean and paint

Cut box hedges

Prune just about everything

Make Jam from rest of fruit (love doing this)

Take out Red Mason Bees clean all of them and place in wood box until next spring

Fabulous to make Jam Sponge with own jam

Me time cosy up under my warm throw in evening ~ aching feet up.

I just love the smokey smell. With all the smokeless zones you don’t tend to get it as much, but back in the day.. heaven!

@Glory1

You mention only SCD and X-Factor but there are also a lot of shows coming back/out this time of the year, right? Not that you need more shows to watch but that's quite exciting too!

@dgilbert2

That'd be quite a treat ... but also a way to avoid Autumn in itself joy Are you not a fan of the cooler weather, spookiness, and everything cinammon and all-spice?

@TallTrees

Plenty to keep you busy in Autumn smiley Does it all dial down a bit with winter, to give you more me-time?

@Cleoriff

New England this season must be gorgeous, I can understand why it's on your list! I'm sure there are some woods or forest-y areas around your house that must be quite nice to though? As long as you hibernate with your phone/laptop and stay on with us, that's alright wink

@Anonymous

Now that you mention this smoke, I have to say, I wish I had a fireplace ... crackling wood and the smell that comes with it. Although we might be talking about two different things here nerd
