Number blocked

I transferred my mobile number from virgin media to o2 & o2 somehow managed to attach someone else's name to my account which resulted in my account being blocked (o2 acknowledged the error but 12 months on resulting in me unable to use my phone o2 are now saying I owe them money for early termination fees)
