You'll have to put the sim in a phone to receive the code.

My problem is that I don't have a phone which will take the full size sim. If I break it down to a nano sim and put it in the phone it doesn't fit back in the tracker. I could use an adapter if there is no other solution.

Can you see if you could borrow a Phone that can take the Size of that Sim Card and providing it accepts the Network of the Sim Card to receive the code?

Otherwise it's an Adapter you will have to use.

The sim will fit back together if you keep the other parts of the sim card.

No need for an additional adapter.
