If you buy more data, it will simply give you more data. It won't increase storage capacity at all.

Hi @Helpless123 Afraid not, the only way to expand the storage of your phone is to source a sd card.

Thank you.    If I can get one and insert it in the phone, will it change any settings ie    contacts, photos, whatsapp etc. or just add the storage.   Thank you x

It will just add storage and if you wish, transfer photos and files to it leaving more usable storage on the phone.
