Hi, I changed my contract the other day to a sim only as my Iphone XR is only one year old an i wanted to keep it. I changed to a 5G SIM, but my phone is not conpatible (I'm an idiot). what do I do ???

Not a problem at all.

4g will work just fine on your phone even with a 5g sim in it.
