I lost service about 4pm and after switching off 3 or four times I checked the 02 website to see if any notices about faults. When I didnt see anything obviously there, I contacted my sister who lives just a mile away and her o2 service is working. I therfore put it down to a faulty phone. It was only on delving deeper into the o2 site that I found these discussions and find that many other people are having the same problem all round the country. Why oh why have o2 not put something prominent on their website to save all the wasted time and give us some idea how long the problem is going to last??????? EJ Accrington Lancs

Thanks perksie for giving me the site address if I ever need it again it will save time. If you dont work for o2 then at least you found the info. If you do work for o2 then I suggest that you feed back that it should be more accessable from the home page. EJ

My signal has been unstable, I have 1 bar at the moment but have had periods of no service, I thought it was to do with my phone as it is not built for the o2 network but I guess its everyone all over the place 😞

Have also lost service! I was supposed to be viewing a house this evening...was asked to call when I arrived on the road so they could tell me which house number - so drove all the way there only to realise that I was unable to call due to no service! Just went home in the end 😞 Thanks o2!

I'm in NW surrey and have no service, yet my wife on same monthly tarrif and same iPhone model and sitting in the same room with me has network service all day. I can't find anything on the 02 website, tried calling o2 from my wife's mobile and our home landline but got busy signal so I tried their Support 'check network coverage' but that bombed out not working, so what is going on. Surely its not unreasoinable for O2 to post a message and/or record a message on their phone line for callers.
