So I returned my iPhone 16 pro as I didn’t like the phone for the price it was. So I started the return on the 29th September and sent the phone back special delivery in which on the Royal Mail tracking they received it on the 1st October. After days of waiting I rung them asking what was happening as the order was still processing. They have said it’s somehow been received there end on the 10th October, 9 days after my Royal Mail tracking said it arrived to them. I’ve been back and fourth with them on the live chats and over the phone and got nowhere. All I keep getting is that it will be a further few days wait and it will be completed but now it’s been nearly a whole MONTH and the return is still PROCESSING.

Royal Mail, bulk mark delivered to Warehouses as delivered, even if they aren't delivered due to either holds and Royal Mails end or the Warehouses asking them to hold it..
So it is quite likely that it was actually checked in on the 10th, from then it takes around 14 working days for any refund or cancellation to be completeted.
best thing to do is check in on Social Media, and not trust anything live chat tell you.. There is nothing anyone can do from this customer to customer community..

Did you get this sorted yet?? I'm at 3 weeks now. Social media team keep saying having issues with returns. Aye, that's great. I'll just keep paying for 2 devices as you can't undo the switch up.
