I sent my iPhone 11 and iPhone 15 to O2 recycle both on separate occasions. The iPhone 11 is completed but I am still waiting for my money and they are claiming that they haven’t received my iPhone 15 yet although I have an email confirming that they have received my device. They are asking for the tracking number unfortunately I don’t have this as when I received the email stating they had received it I destroyed the receipt as it was no longer. A tracking receipt is useless once it has been confirmed that the item has been received and O2 Recycle have confirmed this by email.  

Failure to process the payment after confirming receipt is a breach of contract under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, the email I received from them is proof that I have fulfilled my contract. 
 
I have also asked them to open an investigation into how the confirmation email was sent but their  system shows non receipt. The problem lies with your internal processing and not the delivery.
 
Has anyone else experienced this and who do I complain to at O2

There is nothing anyone can do on here as this is a customer to customer forum, and no one has access to o2 recycle

 

Unless you have the tracking number, for the iPhone 15, then you may be stuck, as you will need that to make a claim against the courier company, or they can.. 

 

It can and does take upto 14 working days for them to make payment to you.
