I a m buying a Fairphone 5 mobile and want to know whether O2 supports eSims and if they will work on Fairphone 5. Has anyone any experience of this mobile which is the most sustainable model available. Thanks

O2 do eSIMs for all contract customers.

Not sure of the position with Fairphone.

However, the advice from us regulars on here is don't get an eSIM on O2 if you can at all help it. The Community is littered with eSIM problems

Have a look on Youtube for some of the reviews of the Fairphone 5, and be aware it may struggle with updates after a few years, but it seems a decent handset.. 

o2 only support esims on Pay Monthly, and I will echo what others have said and avoid esims across any network as a primary sim...
