Hi guys,
As we mentioned here last month, while we are waiting for the homepage feedback to be reviewed further, there were a few minor things we are working on improving, fixing, or enabling.
One of these new things is now available, which means we are able to use a side-board widget to create polls! These polls can be board-specific, or display across all boards on the community. We are planning on using them to get your input on different things, get an idea of your sentiment towards possible changes, activities, off-topic or O2/tech related ideas. A big advantage of polls is that it can help newer members who mainly read and browse take their first steps in the community and start engaging with us all very easily
To kick this off, I created a test poll on the discussions & feedback board, and I'd really like to hear your thoughts on this feature. If you have any ideas on fun (or serious) polls you'd like us to try out, let us know in the comments as well!

Alas, on Android Smartphone (Chrome), only visible in Full (yuck) mode:
vs Mobile mode view:

That's not good. I hate having to go into desktop view. You have to do that on Chrome on the mobile to post a Youtube video as the link doesn't show. On Firefox it's ok but Chrome is my preferred browser on mobile and tablet.

@MI5 It's a widget rather than a new topic so it wouldn't appear in the Unread posts indeed. When we're creating a new poll, if there's a topic it links to, we'll let you guys know in it!
@liggerz87 Did you find it in the end? This first test one next to the list of all the discussions and feedback topics, in the link @MI5 shared
@jonsie @Cleoriff Thanks for having a look and, if you did, voting! If you have any suggestions on how best to use this module, whenever we do use it, let us know please - we have a few ideas but all suggestions are welcome
@pgn @jonsie I hadn't spotted that it was only visible in Full view on mobile - I'm checking if it can easily be fixed and will let you guys know when I have more info. Thanks for the feedback!
