Seriously,

 

You could save yourself a lot of money!

 

I have never had anything regarded as help from either, I end up informing either the "Guru" or "Live Chat" of the situation that it is within O2.

 

How many people have had to explain the situation to a "help"?

 

I'm not under the illusion that they should know everything, but surely when I get through to TuGo helpdesk I should not have to inform them time after time in the same conversation that it is currently disabled for the Xperia S and despite how many times they check and try and tell me it is, IT ISN'T!

 

There are many many cases of this in just my expierience but I have to share the best one yet when asking about a bug in the MyO2 app was informed that i wasn't on the latest software for my Xperia S and should update it to ios6!!!

 

I rest my case.

 

Any other expieriences shared below much appreciated!

Best bet to solve it.

Remove the part of the app that sends back your phone model to tu go servers or spoof it just fill the field with a correct model id rather than letting it search.

Any particular reason why it doesn't work?

As soon as I can get hold of the app I'll have a go. O2 have disabled it for Xperia S to be able to download so at the moment I can't even get my hands on to see what the issues are

It's proving to be a bit of a ***** to download it. I'm going to try an android emulator and download it from play store then just rip it straight from the source folder. *fingers crossed*

It is truly astonishing the amount of nonsense i've been told via the online chat and now the mycare email address over the last few days.

I cannot believe they have outsourced the chat and email to overseas. O2 have really lost the plot.
