friend not recieving messages.

Anonymous
Not applicable
from the 26th of September, my friend hasn't been recieving any of my messages, when previously we were texting pretty much all day everyday, I've deleted his contact then added it again, blocked him and unblocked him- he's done the same and he is still not recieving my messages. I don't know what phone he has or what network is on but this problem is slightly frustrating, anyone know how to fix it?

Ask him to check his phone too again.

Another option would be to sim swap to see if the card is faulty. This can be done at any O2 store.

Put your sim in another phone and try again is another avenue of elimination.

Neither of you have recently moved from an iPhone to android have you ?

You say you've blocked and unblocked each other but be aware that some phones have a call and text blocking mode. So you may have to check in both the phone and text app for block lists.

It's almost certain he has blocked you in the messaging settings. Ask him to check again....

Have you both been side by side to test the messaging.

You could try : Settings - General -Reset -Reset Network Settings.

I'm not being funny but are you sure he hasn't blocked you.

we've tried messaging each other side by side but he still didn't recieve the message I sent.
I'll give that a go and I'll ask him to check his phones block list again.

Make sure it's the blocked list in the message app itself wink
