can't connect to internet?

My phone says i have 3G but when i go on the internet it says internet not connected, i checked my settings and my internet is turned on, i've tried turning my phone on and off but still nothing. This has happened before and it wouldn't let me get on the internet for 6 hours. Anyone know why or what i can do? Quite annoying seeing as i'm paying monthly for the internet but i always have bad connection, most of the time it says GPRS. Thanks

It sounds like a 3G fault in your area, have you checked here with your postcode:

Report it to O2 if nothing shows.

Hi, thanks just checked it and your right. says its experience a high demand in my area and their working on improvements.

With a bit of luck it will be fixed soon.

It can mean that another mast nearby is down and one nearer to you is having to take the extra load.
