Why doesn't Wifi calling include SMS and MMS messages?

exactly that, wifi is great but i have such low signal indoors that sometimes cant even send a text message.

I asked O2 via fb messenger and their response was:

“texts over Wifi is being worked on and will be available in 2018.”

I’ve just asked them when in 2018 when that might be.

“we don't have any dates for this at the moment but it is something we're working on.”

I wonder what responce I would get if I said I have decided to pay my bill later in 2018? you know, when i feel like it. Roll eyes emoji.

Well great, i just got an email saying there is a price increase coming, YET I still cannot send a GFD text message from inside my house!

So to deserve this price increase, surely O2 should be providing the best service possible to all customers?

I cancelled my O2 contract and went with EE, that solved it.
