Samsung Galaxy S10 Fingerprint Security

I'm a NatWest customer and I received a text message from them a few days ago telling me that they were aware of some security issues with the Samsung Galaxy S10's fingerprint scanner and that they strongly suggest that I check for an update for the latest Samsung software.

So far, I've not got an update.

Does anyone know what the security issue is?

When is it likely that the O2 version of the Samsung Galaxy S10 will get the new security update?

Samsung rolled out the update gradually have biometrics set on your phone go to settings scroll to bottom software update and search should have it also don't need to turn phone off to update

My S10 had a Biometric update last week.

It was a pushed update rather than a full build Software update, a message popped up on the screen that said "A Biometrics Security update is available" and update the modules.

I had a message from Barclays about it.

I have found that it more pressure is required for the fingerprint reader and it is failing to read a lot more, I can only imagine that Samsung have made it to err more on the side of caution.
