Hi,
I've been issued with a Vodafone SIM by work, and I want to use in my own phone (previously 02).
Using the online portal, I received a PUK code to unlock my 02 phone. But it says "unsuccessful...".
I've seen others have had this problem, but haven't see what the solution is.
Any ideas on what the next best course of action is ?
I am not going to give up, as really like my Samsung A5, and all the apps etc I have installed.

Your need an unlock code not a puk.

Sorry, maybe wrong terminology. I received an 8 digit unlock code from o2 for "Unlatching a Samsung Device", when putting in the VF sim, it says
"SIM network PIN blocked. Enter SIM network PUK"
I enter the 8 digit code I received from o2, and get
"network unlock request unsuccsesful"
Help ?

A PUK is a "Personal Unblocking Key" which is used if a sim card is locked out due to too many attempts to guess the pin code.
An NUK is a "Network Unlocking Key" which releases the phone lock so that other network sim cards can be used.
By following the link I gave you, you will get a NUK for the phone.
If the Voda sim is requiring a PUK, you need to speak to Voda customer services.
