New phone not registering on network

Anonymous

Hi, I bought a new Samsung S4 mini about 2 weeks ago as an upgrade. I did the standard swapping of the sims, however whilst the new sim is working in a old phone, it isn't working in my new one as messages aren't being sent and I can't make phonecalls. Does anyone know what the problem is?

Thanks!!

Sounds like the phone maybe faulty.....
Have you got a network signal showing on the status bar at all?
Check it's not in airplane mode too.

Thanks for replying! There is signal showing on the bar but under my notifications it says that the selected network (O2) is unavailable. Flight mode is definitely not on

Well definitely not right.
I'd take it back to the shop and ask a guru to look at it for you.
