Can't get 3g signal on 4g LG Spirit

Anonymous

Hi,

I recently bought a 4g LG Spirit, but am still on a 3g sim contract. I thought that 4g phones were backwards compatible, but i am unable to get a 3g signal.

Any ideas??

Thanks

The phone shoulde pick up 3G if the settings are correct. Text ACTIVE to 2020 and save the settings.

Or you can enter them manually.

You have done the sim swap, yes?

£g should work fine.
Try texting the word "Active" to 2020 and save the settings that get sent back.
If 2020 fails check your apn manually here http://www.geeksquad.co.uk/articles/o2-apn-settings#o2%20Android%20APN%20MMS%20mobile%20internet%20s...
