Hi, I've have a Moto X for almost 18 months and my contract is not up until August this year. It had started charging slowly last month, some days not charging at all.
I have cleared the phone cache, deleted aps, used the charger for my PC that came with phone and tried other chargers, but the phone is just not charging at all now.
It was showing the charge icon a few days ago, but actually run flat whilst on charge.
I do not have insurance, but will o2 fix this problem, as I have not damaged the phone?
Thanks

The phone comes with a 2 year warranty so depending on the fault it should be covered. Personally I think you are better dealing with the manufacturer rather than O2.

Hi @Anonymous I suspect O2 repairs will look at it and probably come up with a price to fix that is more than the phone is worth ...as its 18 months old. You may be better giving Moto support a call and see what they say

'Should' be covered is correct. My point was if they go through O2 repairers they will probably find some 'water ingress' or another obscure reason for not doing a reasonable repair. If there is any chance of any solution the op needs to contact Motorola...
