Xperia Z5 Premium Headphone Jack issue?

Hi there,

 

Just this morning i have been having this issue where when i have the fm radio on while the headphones are inserted into the jack it still reads "Insert headset, The cord works as the antenna"

 

I have tried numerous headphones and it does the same thing for each of them. Also when i try to put on music the sound comes through the speakers and not through the headset.

 

I am unsure as to why this is occuring since it was fine last night.

Settings, applications

Then find both fm radio and smart connect.

Clear cache and data from both then try again

Tried that to no avail, still bringing the same issue.

 

Even tried restarting after clearing cache and data from both and still the problem persists. Could it be the jack itself perhaps?

Does sound come out normal from youtube/ music?

While the headphones are plugged into the jack the youtube videos and music come out through the speakers and not the headphones
