Try a different charger or lead if possible
Try gently cleaning the port to make sure no fluff has got in there
If You need to call O2 then choose any of the options, fraud etc
Everything is taking longer due to the lockdown. Call centres and social distancing means limited staff to handle all the queries. Patience needed I'm afraid.

When did you buy the phone?
You would be better contacting the manufacturer if it's an iphone try Apple https://support.apple.com/en-gb
However, first thing to try is clean out the charge port of fluff etc. Use a toothpick or needles and do it gently. Charging ports collect a lot of debris.
If you need to contact O2, all numbers are in this guide. Guide: Coronavirus Community Help and Support
