Charge Port Not Working

I have a Google pixel 8 about 2years old.

I am unable to charge phone as the port is not working i assume.

No obvious signs of damage, cleaned port etc and still not charging.

Phone will charge using wifi charger so assuming its the port itself.

tried cable with other phones and it works so it is not the cable.

My question is i have full o2 insurance for my phone would this be covered by the policy ?

If no joy, and you don't want to keep using the wireless charger, try a local mobile phone repair stall first... The O2 insurance route means calling 202 and doing without your phone for a few weeks, especially with the Christmas postal delays in December.
