Upgraded to monthly plan. Data\Internet stopped working.

Anonymous
Not applicable

Hi

Today I switched from pay to go to a monthly plan. I put in the new sim card and restarted my device. I can call people but there is no mobile internet connetction. I tried to remedy that. After I've sent 'Active' to 2020 I got the following answer:

'Unfortunately we had problems dealing with your request for settings. Please contact Customer Service.'

So how do I enable mobile data again on my phone ?

Thanks,

Peter

Contact customer service, as the message says. Call 202 from your phone. It's a free call.

You can also manually enter the settings as shown here http://www.geeksquad.co.uk/articles/o2-apn-settings#o2%20Android%20APN%20MMS%20mobile%20internet%20s...

As the OP only switched today it may well be that O2's systems haven't completely updated yet.
