Hi, I’ve been trying for days to contact 02 (I know Chat is down atm) but when I call I end up waiting ‘in a queue’ and then finally a ring tone answered by an EE voicemail! What!!
How are we to contact 02 when it’s seemingly impossible. 😢
I have an old Samsung S9 that I’ve given to my son, as I’ve now upgraded but when his SIM is inserted it says SIM not supported. I thought all phones from 02 were supplied unlocked from 2018 so wasn’t expecting him to have this issue.
I’ve told him I’ll try and get the unlock code he needs but have been trying now and wasted so much time ‘on hold’ and still not getting anywhere.
Can anyone enlighten me what to do to resolve this please? It seems crazy to me that a huge business like 02 can’t provide support to its customer and I’ve tried different methods but am still baffled.
Many thanks for reading my gripe! Sorry. But just been on hold for yet another 25 mins only to get passed to an EE voicemail. I’m completely weirded out that 02 use EE voicemail. Lol.

You honestly couldn’t credit this.
When I click the link provided to manually complete the request, O2 pops up an error page stating, ‘Our pages for transferring mobile numbers and unlocking O2 phones is down at the moment….’
*Head hits desk in utter frustration. 😠
