Can't receive text messages on Galaxy S20

Getting very frustrated now with my new Galaxy S20 5G. I am able to make and receive phone calls and send texts but I'm not receiving any texts... Which means I can't finish setting up my apps as a lot of them want to text me codes. I've googled for hours and tried everything I can find with no success. I tried phoning O2 but I can't get talking to anyone because it wasn't deemed urgent enough.

So far I have:

Restarted the phone (several times)

Updated the software

Removed the sim

Cleared the message cache

Triple checked the message centre number

Anybody any suggestions as to where I go from here? Any help much appreciated

Nothing as of yet unfortunately, very frustrating especially for those that rely on their texts for work etc.

I got my new phone yesterday and can't receive text messages what can I do i have restarted multiple times factory reset my phone tried sim in another phone what else can I do?

I'm having the same problem with my new iPhone so I'm assuming that's related too?

Guys I have managed to get through to an advisor and currently there is a problem that is affecting new contracts/upgrades and number transfers.

He has reassured me that it will be done by latest tomorrow

I’m now on day 2 with no access to incoming texts

The advisor looked at my messages and said there’s a lot pending and they will all come through when things are restored.

Let's hope! Got new iPhone se 2020 yesterday and can't receive texts.also it's stuck on waiting for activation. I've been on phone multiple times to O2 and Apple ...even Apple chat. Nothing. done everything recommended too.

Same here. Been 2 days now. Waiting on activation. So think it’s all new phones / contracts etc.

Im sooo stressed...when I called around 5pm the rep said it's been resolved too!

Im sick because i cant recieve my text to upgrade.. haha.. been counting down the days too.
