why can I not download info when my S2 is attached to Wifi etc? Works fine ay home! applies to facebook

Possibly you're connected to a BT Wi-Fi hotspot you're not authorised to use.

With so little information it's hard to offer any other help.

If it works fine at home it sounds as though you aren't logged on with the wifi you are trying to use. As said, we need more details.

O2 customers cannot use BT WiFi hotspots any more, unless you're a BT broadband customer. Only O2 Wifi hotspots. This happened several months ago.

I use Bt Wifi Hotspots but don't find them all that stable or speedy when trying up download or update Apps etc.

Possibly this will help the OP if they as bambino rightly asks, if they are a Bt Broadband Customer or pay extra to use Bt Wifi / Fon.
