If you open Google Maps and let it find you, where does it think you are?

Re: Automatic Network time is wrong

Check for any updates to the app or OS and try turning the phone off and on a few times to see if it starts to get it right.
Do you also have a weather app that works off location? Does that say the right place?

weather apps show right place too and tried turning the phone off etc. No updates either. Everything I have already tried. Was working fine early yesterday morning then suddenly changed from about midday onwards

Re: Automatic Network time is wrong

Have you ever stuck a custom ROM on your phone at any point?

Have your tried doing a "Hard" re-set yet?

On a HTC it should be:

  • Press and hold the volume down button, and then press and hold the power button.
  • Wait for the screen with the three Android images to appear, and then release the power and volume down buttons.
  • Press volume down to select factory reset, and then press the power button.

Now wait for your phone to do the reset dance
