Hi everyone! 

 

Thanks for joining the O2 Community! (Or if you haven't yet but would like to, you can register here!). I'm very happy to welcome you here. The O2 Community is a great place to get help and advice on O2 products and services, provide feedback and suggestions for the network, and have general chit chat. slight_smile

 

My name's Martin, one of the Community Managers here on the O2 forum. I work with @lewys-gp and @RafaC who are also part of the Community team. Personally, I've been working on communities for the last 8 years and have been with O2 since February 2016! 

 

This thread is all about introducing yourself to the Community and we'd love to hear a bit more about you! Things like: 

 

  • Pay monthly, Pay as you Go or Business Customer? 
  • What phone you currently have? 
  • Hobbies and interests? 
  • Random or cool facts about you?

Yes she has, but it's been nearly a week now and I'm without a phone number and uncontactable. There seems no Comms out on when it will be fixed. It's the worst customer experience by far. From such a reputed big brand

Hi... formalities "It's Nice to meet you all.."

 

But not so nice to have to meet you 'for not so nice' reasons. Anyway I joined seeking help as like many that may have said before... O2 number porting process is absolutely shambolic at the moment (if its ever been any different). I'm stuck between having no phone number to be contacted on since a deciding to join O2 on 24th October and somewhere between being given many assurances of a process that should take 24/48hrs to complete and however many 'failed call back promises' but days on and I still no joy!!

 

Despite the strange admission that the only positive thus far is a weird 'me too' comforting feeling from reading posts from those also in this weird status.. I appreciate all the attempts to help here.

Thanks Martin.  New to the community and new to O2.  Sadly a bad experience so far with the number port only partially completed.  Turned to the community as getting nowhere with the CS route.  Details of the issue here https://t.co/FSGlTjkYhe.  Help!
