With all the images and videos we take phone storage is one of the biggest factors when getting a new phone nowadays. But gigs and bites are usually scarce.

Enjoy extendable storage for your photos and videos, a large-capacity battery and impressive front and rear cameras. The new Huawei Y5p is now available on O2.

Get all the space you need

Photos of holidays and adventures. Videos of nights out and family get-togethers. Apps that help you do the things you enjoy. You wouldn’t want to be without any of these things – and with the Huawei Y5p you never need to be. In addition to the 32GB internal memory, it also has slots for two Nano sims and an SD card (up to 512GB). So you can take everything that matters with you, wherever you go.

Choose a battery that lasts

Whether you’re using your phone to read a book, watch a TV show or find your way somewhere, you don’t need the frustration of a flat battery. With the Huawei Y5p’s 3020 mAh battery, you can watch up to 17 hours of video – so you won’t have to worry about powering up every few hours. The intelligent battery saves energy and improves efficiency, to help you get the most out of your day.

Take photos worth sharing

Birthday parties. Days out with friends. Weekends away. Capture the moments that matter with the Huawei Y5p’s 8 MP HD rear camera. The HDR mode will enhance your snaps even in low light. And you’ll get super selfies every time with 5 MP front camera, which intelligently adapts to different lighting conditions.

Make life easier

Moving to the Huawei Y5p is a piece of cake, thanks to Huawei’s new suite of tools designed to help you find apps and content. Phone Clone will transfer your existing apps, photos, contacts and other data from your old phone to your Y5p. Instead of using Google apps, AppGallery is the official platform developed by Huawei. Search and download your favourite apps.

So a device that's moving away from always-on cloud storage. I guess that is because of Google restrictions, but it'd be nice to see them use AWS or Dropbox... Perhaps they are aiming at the Lyve suite, like this:
