Hey @Anonymous,
See here for a FAQ info for O2 Open discount and other questions answered by O2:
Q. When will I be able to use my O2 Open discount on the new iPhone(s)?
A. Great news! As of 11th October the iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus are now eligible for O2 Open discount. iPhone X won’t be available on O2 Open during pre-order or at launch, but we’ll let everyone know when this becomes available.

@NathanKenneford i understand your frustration but this could be out of their hands.
o2 might of not been allocated as much stock?
o2 might have a bigger customer base... so when these pre orders happen they have alot more people's order to full-fill.
Either way i hope you get it soon. All the best

Hi @LauraMc1987
Don't give up hope! I didn't hear a thing, even checked the website about 9.15 and it still said it was at the depot but was delivered 5 mins later and we are more than 5 minutes from the depot!
You never know, will keep my fingers crossed for you.
Seems mad how some people have been updated throughout and some of us have had nothing really.

Well good luck with it all my man! @NathanKenneford

@Anonymous @NathanKenneford I was told yesterday I was getting one for certain and now it's just a laundry list of excuses. The one now I've just had from the advisor when getting my PAC code was that the Doncaster Store, "where my phone will be sent from, must not have been allocated a lot of stock"...
