My port is taking place today and I have been asked to switch off my phone. I am not sure when I take out my virgin sim and insert O2 sim

Ports dont normally happen on a Friday, so are you sure its happening today...

 

If it is then I would do it as soon as the Virgin Sim goes dead, and then put in your o2 sim card.. 

Good Luck and be aware it can take upto 24hours to complete...

Ports can complete any day Monday to Friday.

You can insert your O2 sim at anytime after the virgin sim turns off and keep rebooting every 30 mins until the O2 sim comes online.
