I had a mobile contract with Virgin which has since been switched over to O2, and recently moved house and installed virgin broadband. It therefore seems like I should be eligible for volt but when I go to the pages about activating it, they just send me round in circles redirecting me back and forth between sites on My O2 and the Volt information pages, or occasionally just says that it has failed to retrieve my information. The installation noted say you can text VOLT to the relevant number along with other details but of course this incurs charges. It seems like there should be a much easier way of doing this, how can I activate the benefits?

@Anon12

This is a customer to customer community, not O2.
You need to contact O2.
Message them on Social Media. Facebook (https://o2uk.co/O2CFB) , Twitter (https://o2uk.co/O2CTW) or Instagram (https://o2uk.co/O2CIG) or give them a call on 202 or 0344 809 0202

You will also need to contact Virgin. Customer service: 0345 454 1111

@MI5 ah okay, thanks, I did spend quite a while attempting to contact them but every time I tried to go to a contact or help page it just redirected me back to more FAQs, and when I eventually found a virtual assistant page, it just sent me here. Thanks for the info

Good luck.

Calling early morning around 8.00am is a good time to avoid queues.
